New Service
Is your website actually working, or is it just live?
A real evaluation, not a wall of flagged errors
Most website audits hand you forty things that are technically wrong and no idea what to fix first. I built something different: a full look at your site's design, message, performance, and search visibility—sorted into a roadmap you can actually act on Monday morning.
Why This, Why Now
A pile of flagged errors isn't a plan
Generic scanning tools can list a hundred things that are technically wrong with your site. They can't tell you which three actually matter this month. Every finding in your report gets sorted into a real roadmap—so you know exactly where to start, not just what to worry about.
1
Immediate Wins
0–30 days. High-impact fixes that don't require a rebuild.
2
Growth Improvements
30–60 days. Real upgrades that build on what's already working.
3
Strategic Projects
60–90+ days. Bigger projects that deserve real planning, not rushing.
What Gets Checked
Every part of your site that actually affects whether people trust you enough to act
SEO & Search Visibility
Crawlability, site architecture, schema markup, broken links, and local search signals.
Accessibility Screening
A plain-language pass on real barriers—not a formal ADA compliance audit.
Performance & Core Web Vitals
Real Google PageSpeed data, in plain English, plus the exact oversized images slowing your pages down—not a raw score to decode.
Mobile Experience & UX
Real pages opened in a phone-sized browser and measured for sideways scrolling, cramped margins, and buttons that overlap.
Messaging & Conversion
Whether the site actually tells people what to do next—and makes it easy.
AI Search Readiness
Whether your site is accessible, structured, and written in ways that help AI-driven search and answer engines understand your content.
And for the full Performance & Growth Evaluation…
Real visitor data. Real search data. Real competitive context.
Analytics & Search Console
See how people actually find and use your site.
Competitive Review
See where competitors are communicating or performing differently.
Google Business Profile
Make sure your website and local search presence are working together.
User Journeys
Follow the actual paths visitors take toward contacting, buying, joining, or converting.
Is This Right For You
You probably need an evaluation if…
- Your site's been live for years and you're not sure what's still working.
- You're getting traffic, but not enough calls, inquiries, registrations, or sales.
- The site's grown piecemeal over time and doesn't feel cohesive anymore.
- You know SEO, accessibility, or AI search have changed, but you're not sure what actually matters for your site.
- You're considering a redesign and want to know what really needs to change before you spend that money.
- You inherited a website and need an honest, outside read on where things actually stand.
Not every website needs to be rebuilt.
Sometimes the right answer is a full redesign. Sometimes it's better messaging, cleaner navigation, faster pages, stronger SEO, or a handful of targeted fixes. The evaluation tells you which one you actually need—before you commit to a bigger project.
What You'll Actually Receive
A real report, not a raw export
Every evaluation is customized to your actual site. You receive two documents: a plain-language Executive Summary that opens with a personal letter from me, and a Full Report with the detailed findings behind it—so nothing disappears into a generic data dump:
- Executive Summary, with a personal letter — my professional read on your brand, your website, and your customers' path to calling or booking, and what to fix first.
- At a glance — your real PageSpeed scores, desktop and mobile, listed page by page for the pages tested.
- Your roadmap — every finding sorted into Immediate Wins, Growth Improvements, and Strategic Projects, not just listed.
- Category-by-category findings — SEO, accessibility, image optimization, Core Web Vitals, AI search readiness, social sharing, and technical health, each with its own real detail, plus phone layout, Google Business Profile, messaging, and competitors.
- Every finding names its page — no vague "your site has issues," just the exact page and the exact fix.
- Site-level checks — HTTPS and certificate expiry, key security headers, robots.txt and sitemap, whether AI crawlers can actually reach your site, what your site is built on, and when your domain registration renews.
- Delivered as PDFs — keep them, and share them with anyone else who needs the full picture, including your current web provider.
Not just what's broken
A useful evaluation doesn't recommend change for its own sake. Your report also names what's already working—design, content, or conversion elements worth keeping exactly as they are.
A sample report for a fictional company—built to show the real format, not a real client's real data.

Questions
A few things people usually ask
Do I need to give you access to my website?
No admin access is needed for most of the evaluation. The full Performance & Growth Evaluation does ask for read-only access to Google Analytics and Search Console.
How many pages do you review?
The Website Health Check covers up to 20 key pages. The full Performance & Growth Evaluation covers your entire site—every page that's in your menu or linked from another page. Any live pages nobody can reach through your site are listed separately, so nothing is quietly skipped.
Will you make changes to my website during the evaluation?
No. The evaluation identifies and prioritizes what to fix. Implementation is always a separate, clearly quoted project.
Does this tell me whether I need a whole new website?
Yes—that's one of the real questions it answers. Often the right move is targeted fixes, not a full rebuild.
Is this an ADA or WCAG compliance audit?
No. The accessibility screening flags common, real barriers—it's not a formal compliance audit.
What if I run a larger, e-commerce, membership, or nonprofit website?
Bigger or more complex sites are scoped separately as a custom Digital Presence & Growth Evaluation—ask about it on your free call.
Can my own web developer implement your recommendations?
Yes. The report is yours. Whether your own team, another provider, or I do the work, it's built to give clear direction either way.
Can you work with my current website company?
Yes. Your provider keeps making the website changes inside its own platform. I can lead the brand, messaging, and content direction, and review the finished work against the plan before launch.
What if my website is built on a template or platform I don't control?
That's common, and it's fine. The report names what your site is built on, and every finding names its exact page and fix, so you can hand the right items straight to the company that manages it. I can also help you work with them.
